Mon, 18 Apr 2011The 2012 Beetle has been unveiled ahead of its Shanghai Motor Show reveal. The new 'New Beetle' is said to draw on design cues from the original Beetle launched 73 years ago. Retaining a similar silhouette to the 2003 New Beetle, the 2012 model gains a stronger influence from the 2005 Detroit show 'Ragster' concept.
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 certified at 662 hp!
Thu, 26 Apr 2012You might recall that a few scant minutes ago, Ford had declined to confirm that the 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 was certified by the SAE to crank out no less than 662 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque. In light of the leak, Ford has reversed its decision and decided to officially confirm the number. The rumors, apparently, were off by one foot-pound of torque.
Ford builds it, you test it
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Only a select few usually get the opportunity to test out upcoming vehicles. Ford is bucking that trend by allowing customers to sign up at BuiltToughTest.com, and get the chance to explain how they would put the aluminum reinforced 2015 Ford F-150 to the test. Product development does extensive testing to the extremes, going as far as disguising the F-150 and running it through the 2013 Baja 1000.
