Promise, Commitment, & Assurance

  • Promise:  I spend a considerable amount of time prepping, preparing, & packaging each auction I place on eBay.  I list my items with as much information as possible in regards to the item, as well as provide the clearest photos I can get.  I also take as many photos as possible from many different angels, because I know a picture is worth a thousand words...AND, I offer close up pictures of each item I sell.  In addition, I thoroughly examine each item for sale, to make sure it is perfectly "as described."  I promise to accept all forms of payment, of those that are allowed through eBay's guidelines.

  • Commitment:  My commitment is to make sure that you are informed with your purchase, as well as make sure your item is shipped out in a timely manner.  eBay has a minimum shipping time of 1 business day...I try and ship my packages within 12 hours after payment is made, to make as little delay as possible.

  • Assurance:  I have been both selling & buying on eBay since May 1999.  In addition, I sell on behalf of all my friends and family.  I am the goto guy when it comes to selling items on eBay.  I strive for 100%, which is reflective in my feedback score, as well as 5 stars on all levels.  I have a perfect standing account with eBay, as well as Pay Pal.

Postage, Handling, & Delivery

  • Postage & Handling:  Shipping and handling are free if you have a United States address in which this item will be sent to.

  • Delivery:  Because I will be fronting the cost of postage, I will be mailing out the item to you at the cheapest possible rate.  If you would like Express Mail or some other method, I would be obliged to mail your item that way, provided that you cover the entire cost of the postage.  Just inform me before you pay and I will send you an updated invoice.  I DO ALLOW LOCAL PICK UP!

Refunds, Buyer's Remorse, Non Paying, & Negative Feedback

  • Refunds & Buyers Remorse:  I will only offer a refund if by some miracle that my description was "not as described."  I think in all my years of selling on eBay, I have probably have had 2-3 items come back to me due to buyer's remorse, but I do not allow this option anymore.  Refunds are not fun for buyers or sellers...you have to deal with returning the item, which will cost you money and then I would then have to minus the postage price I paid to have the item sent to you.  I then have to go through the whole process of relisting the item and waiting another 7 days for the item to sell.  Its just not worth all the trouble.

  • Non Paying Winning Bidder:  I do not take lightly to winning bidders who suddenly change their mind after the auction closes.  When you bid on an auction, it is a legal binding contract between you and I.  If you win the auction, you are obligated to pay for the auction.  If you do not pay, then I will have no choice but to report you to eBay, to ensure that I receive a refund to all the fees that eBay accesses me upon the auction closure.  If you think you are going to be one of those customers who changes their mind after winning an eBay auction, then don't bid on my auction.

  • Negative Feedback:  If you are desiring to go this route, please at least extend me the courtesy and contact me before you leave the negative feedback, so I can hear you out and at least be given the option to rectify your concerns.

Mercedes A Class production outsourced

Tue, 24 Jul 2012

Mercedes is outsourcing some new A Class production as orders continue to flood in for Mercedes’ new compact car. Last week we had the news that Mercedes will be building new A Class compact SUV – the Mercedes GLA – at the Mercedes plant in Rastatt as production of the A Class kicked off. But despite the new A Class being built at both Rastatt and the Mercedes plant in Kecskemet, Hungary, Mercedes don’t have enough capacity for the volume of order flooding in for the new A Class – over 40,000 since it went on sale just over a month ago.

Senate releases $350 billion more in bailout money

Fri, 16 Jan 2009

The Senate voted Thursday to release a second round of $350 billion in federal aid to rescue financial institutions. The money could be the source of additional loans to automakers, auto finance companies and perhaps suppliers. An earlier allocation of $350 billion funded the first installments of emergency loans to General Motors and Chrysler LLC.

Use screenwash – or risk Legionnaires’ Disease

Mon, 14 Jun 2010

Adding Screenwash stops Legionella bacterium To be entirely truthful, the risk isn’t huge. There are probably less than 500 cases a year of Legionnaires’ Disease in the UK, but new research points to a likely cause for an unpleasant infection for which the source of infection often goes undiscovered. The Health Protection Agency has been checking out findings that professional drivers were the group mostly at risk – five times more likely to contract Legionnaires’ disease – and have been looking at why.
