Goodyear Polyglas F60-15 Elevated Size Tire as used on High Performance Mustang applications such as 1970 Boss 302/429 as well as other period Muscle Cars. For use on 15x7 inch rims. The Elevated Size version was used from October 31,1969 throughout 1970 production and also on some 1971 high performance vehicles. Exact reproductions approved for concours trailered judging. Tire is shown mounted, auction is for tire only, price is per tire. Shipping is calculated based on your location. Strate College degree show 2009
Wed, 01 Jul 2009Graduating students from Strate College in Paris, France displayed their final projects in a degree show held at the school's temporary facility late last month. Founded in 1993, the school has outgrown its rented facility and is in the process of relocating to a new purpose-built facility, which will be completed at the start of the next school year. Of the 60 students studying various disciplines, the design exhibition also included the works of 16 students in the Transportation Mobility program.

Policeman look like they’ve just come out of short pants (which in the case of the ‘Plastic’ (community) police, some have); white cars look old-fashioned (although I’m coming to terms with that one); my arms are only just long enough to read the newspaper and my back goes out more than I do. But I can now add another to that list: Land Rover’s ‘New’ car – the Land Rover Discovery – is 20 years old, and it only seems five minutes since it hit the market.

Fri, 03 Jul 2009Porsche are bringing a number of Porsche 917 Le Mans cars to the Goodwood Festival of Speed But Porsche aren’t just bringing along the 917s, they’re also bringing along a bunch of 917 drivers to re-create their exploits, including Richard Attwood, former F1 driver and 1970 Le Mans winner for Porsche, driving a 917; sports car racing legend Brian Redman will be behind the wheel of the 917/30 CanAm racer; David Piper, who bought a 917 new from the factory in 1969, will be driving his own car; and Jackie Oliver, who won Le Mans in 1969, will be reunited with an evocative Gulf-liveried 917. Treats galore. But Porsche aren’t going to waste the opportunity to bring along something more contemporary.
