The Peugeot 4007 Sport XS - Peugeot's PSA 4x4 - has been launched today There are some plus points, however. It has pretty good off-road ability (thanks to the input of Mitsubishi, no doubt), not that many owners ever go off road. It has a pretty decent, supple ride and the 2.2 litre HDI engine is a good unit.

By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 20 August 2009 09:30 As bets in this topsy-turvy, unpredictable industry go, it’s a banker: of all the motor shows on the global calendar, the Tokyo exhibit is always the barmiest. Although the Chinese shows are rising in importance – and amusement value –  there’s something peculiarly bonkers about the biannual Japanese bash held in downtown Tokyo. So strange is the exhibition at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City to westerners, that you don’t bat an eyelid at talking cars, vehicles with feelings, or cars designed for dogs.

Jay Leno took one of the first non-GM-employee drives of the new Chevy Camaro Z/28 on his “Jay Leno's Garage” web series this week. He talked with chief engineer Al Oppenheiser at his warehouse about what it took to add the famous name to the proud pony car. We first saw the new Camaro at the New York auto show in March.
