This is a quite magnificent example of the lower RADIATOR GRILLE that fits between the front fenders on all 1974 to 1987 Jaguar Series 2 and 3 Sedans & Coupes. It features the original polished aluminum finish that was standard on 1974 to 1979 USA & Canadian spec Series 2 models, and is also a simple straightforward replacement for the virtually identical grille that Jaguar used on 1980 to 1987 4-door Series 3 sedans.
It's necessity goes far beyond cosmetic needs - this grille helps prevent flying road debris from causing catastrophic damage to the lower radiator, oil cooler and adjacent parts.

BMW X4 confirmed for production in 2014
Mon, 16 Jan 2012More details have emerged about BMW's forthcoming X4. As previously reported by CAR, the new 2014 X4 is in essence a baby X6 - a sort of squashed coupe-cum-4x4 to appeal to outward-going types. Now Frank-Peter Arndt, BMW's board member in charge of production, has confirmed the new BMW X4 will be built at Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina, USA.

Wed, 09 Jan 2013Yesterday we reported how Audi was readying a lavish 3D sound experience with 23 speakers and 1,400 watts of goosebump-inducing audio power. Not to be outdone, Harman had been quietly developing a system of its own: Quantum Logic 3D brings together 25 speakers and more than 2,000 watts of Tubthumping power to a new car near you, like driving inside Phil Spector's Wall of Sound. Sitting inside the demonstration BMW 7-Series that Harman painstakingly lifted into the Studio at the Palms, Global Audio Engineering vice president Phil Muzio explained, "great music is delivered in stereo, yet our consumer research indicates that people enjoy surround sound." QuantumLogic 3D's surround sound expands beyond the boundaries of the vehicle's cabin, providing "a sense of detail and spatial placement that you don't get in stereo." Five height component speakers mounted in the corners of the headliner, and above the rearview mirror, elevates audio beyond the confines of the roof, "almost like you're in a convertible," said Muzio.
