New MINI Clubman at Geneva 2014 as a concept
Wed, 26 Feb 2014The new MINI Clubman (pictured) arrives at Geneva as a concept The first stage in the complete arrival of the new MINI only happened in November with the reveal of the all new MINI as a bigger, more complete MINI with completely new underpinnings thanks to BMW’s UKL1 platform. Now, the next iteration of the MINI – the new MINI Clubman – is previewed with the arrival of the MINI Clubman Concept ahead of a Geneva Motor Show debut next month, and it to has grown. Considerably.
Koenigsegg can take the P1, LaFerrari & Huayra with the Agera R
Sat, 16 Mar 2013Koenigsegg believe that the Agera R has more than the measure of the new toys at Geneva – LaFerrari and McLaren P1 – and Pagani’s Huayra lap at Top Gear was a farce. But a car that was also at Geneva was the Koenigsegg Hundra, Koenigsegg’s one-off special to celebrate 100 Koenigseggs built since Christian von Koenigsegg started bolted his immense supercars together in a shed in Sweden a decade ago. So we thought it would be interesting to chat to Koenigsegg people – including Koenigsegg’s UK dealer Supervettura – and get their thoughts on the new batch of supercars that could perhaps take some gloss off the offerings from Koenigsegg.
Citroen to launch range of Green, Eco cars
Sat, 14 Mar 2009Citroen C-Cactus Concept will form the basis of a new range of Citroen Eco-Cars The first of the new range will be based on the existing C4, but feature bodywork based on the C-Cactus Concept (but a wee bit prettier, we hope) and featuring a range of green and economical propulsion systems. Under consideration are an electric version (EV), a form of hybrid technology or simply lopping a cylinder off and aiming to bring the Co2 down to under 100g/km. So that will give Citroen three distinct ranges.
