The TT Clubsport Quattro, unveiled today in Austria, is a concept car to show how far the TT brand can be stretched, but officials freely admit that they are considering a limited production run. It's a TT like no other, squashed and squat, flattened to create a low-slung sports car for those living in dry climates where the occasional rain storm isn't a worry.

In 2007, the aggressive Korean car maker will wade into Europe's biggest market – the C-segment – with a family hatch, and launch a big, seven-seat crossover SUV Stateside. The crossover – captured here by our spy photographers – will be named Veracruz, continuing Hyundai's habit of adopting Mexican names.

Univeristy honours F1's Flying Scot

FORMULA ONE hero Sir Jackie Stewart will receive an honorary degree today. The 74-year-old racing star will collect the award from Edinburgh Napier University at a ceremony in the city. Known as "The Flying Scot", he won the Grand Prix 27 times and was Formula 1 World Champion three times.
