TIMING CHAIN COVER:

Original timing chain cover from a 1942 Buick straight 8 - at least that's what's marked on it. It looks the same as a previous 1937-1940 timing chain cover we had, but I'm not sure. Please look closely at pictures for condition. There's epoxy on this, not sure if there was a repair or if it's just reinforced. Needs blasted and painted.

CLUTCH FORK:

Here's a OEM clutch fork from a 1941 Buick.  Please look closely at pictures for condition.  I'm unsure of what's supposed to be attached or included - it appears to be in good condition, solid, and in good used condition.

In good condition - dirty with some grime left on it, I'm not sure what's supposed to be on it or what shape the attached pieces are supposed to be, please look closely at pictures for the condition of this fork and what's attached.

All parts are described & identified to the best of my ability. Items are gathered from vehicles we've restored and parts we've acquired over years and years of business. I try to research the parts, but sometimes have to rely on the identification provided by my own limited research, other vendors & employees. Sometimes parts will fit years & models other than the one it was removed from. The final judge of fitment for your application is YOU!!! Please do your research, ask questions and request additional pictures before your bid/buy.  I do my best to take accurate pictures and good descriptions and I want to make sure everyone gets what they’re paying for.

PLEASE - IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH YOUR PURCHASE AFTER IT ARRIVES, CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR RESOLUTION BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK.  I WOULD APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WITH YOU - I STRIVE FOR 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!

Auction payment is due within 3 days.  If you need more time than that, please contact me.

SHIPPING: Some items are large/heavy and expensive to ship.  I’m happy to work with you on alternate shipping methods - please contact me before bidding.  I will combine shipping, eBay doesn’t have an easy way (that I’ve figured out) to do this - please let me know if you have multiple items you’ve won.  I ship out usually same day and will combine the most inexpensive way possible.  I will refund any shipping overage you’ve paid if Ebay overcharges.

Big Spenders Flock To Bohnams Festival Of Speed Auction

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

GOODWOOD’S Festival of Speed might be famous for the action on its famous hill, but there’s more to the self proclaimed ‘world's largest motoring garden’ than just the racing. And just to prove the point, this year the annual Bonhams sale earned a staggering £22.6 million on the Friday of the event. The star attraction was a 1954 Ferrari 375-Plus, as used in iconic road races such as the Mille Miglia, Targa Florio and Carrera Panamericana, which sold for £10.7 million following a fierce battle between bidders.

GM to double size of battery lab

Mon, 12 Apr 2010

General Motors says it will spend $8 million to double the size of its Global Battery Systems Lab, which the company claims is the largest and most technologically advanced automotive battery lab in the United States. GM says the expansion will speed up the development of hybrid and electric vehicles, such as the upcoming Chevrolet Volt, by improving on-site testing of battery cells and systems. When finished, the lab will be 30,000 square feet bigger than it is now, for a 63,000-square-foot total.
