I bought a NOS steering gear for my GW, but when I got it home I found it had the pre-'79 flare fittings. I can't use it. But I'm sure someone can. This thing is in perfect condition. It has never been installed, has the original plastic caps over the fittings and has a new rag joint already installed. It is still in the original box. The action is smooth and there is no play whatsoever. It has always been stored inside. There is no rust. I paid $200 plus shipping (around $50) and would just like to make my money back. This is only about $50 more than a good rebuild will cost you, and is much better and cheaper than a high quality rebuild like Readhead. This is a deal. If you need a steering gear for a older model, this is what you want.
