Blaupunkt AM/FM Car Radio

This Blaupunkt was made in the 1970's. This is an original European model ("U" is FM, "M" is AM, "L" is middlewave and "K" is shortwave)

This radio is overall really nice. The dial face is really nice with no chips or cracks. The buttons push very well, the knobs turn freely and the dial moves freely across the dial face. This radio is a standard 12 volt negative ground radio.

This radio has been tested and works great on FM and AM. The sound is great for a 40+ year old radio. Even the dial light works. This is one of the cleanest radios I've had in quite a while, really nice.

This radio is a standard size and was found in all European vehicles such as Porsches, Mercedes, BMW's and VW's in the late 1960's and 1970's and are easy to install on these early vehicles. The radio has a DIN connector on the back for your iPOD cable adapter or other external units such as an MP3. Obviously it is not perfect, because it is 40 years old. This radio is 7 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall.
