Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit is the latest DS 3 Special Edition – costs £18,745
Fri, 01 Aug 2014The Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit We have to assume that Citroen see the DS3 Cabrio as a proper ‘Girly’ car as they’ve teamed up with Benefit Cosmetics to create a Special edition DS3 Cabrio inspired by their Stay Flawless Primer - the Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit. With that in mind, you won’t be shocked to learn that the DS3 Cabrio by Benefit is all about the looks, and there’s nothing new going on under the skin, just the VT1 120 1.6 litre petrol engine with a five-speed manual gearbox good for 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds. Those tweaks to the looks of the DS3 Cabrio include a Polar White paint job with a black fabric folding roof and Fuchsia Pink for the door mirrors and alloy centres, with Benefit’s ‘Gabbi’s Head’ logo on the B-Pillars and on a Fuchsia Pink badge at the back.
McLaren MP4-12C GT3 confirmed
Fri, 17 Dec 2010McLaren MP4-12C GT3 - going racing in 2012 We have been expecting McLaren to confirm that they are going racing with the McLaren MP4-12C. It would be unthinkable for McLaren not to take their new baby to the track but we’d had no confirmation. We had seen the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 out testing last month so we knew an announcement was likely to be imminent, and so it is.
Is the DfT trying to nobble 80mph speed limit trials?
Wed, 31 Oct 2012With trials proposed for an 80mph speed limit, the ABD are asking if the DfT are trying to fix the trials by running them on congested motorways. When the ConDems came to power, and Philip Hammond was made Transport Secretary, we did hope that might be a sign that government policy on cars would finally make sense, especially when Philip Hammond declared ‘The war on motorists is over‘. Philip’s aim was to look at stuff like national speed limits and create a system that made sense, rather than the silly situation we have where everyone knows you won’t get nicked for 85mph on a motorway unless plod got out of bed the wrong side.
