This is a grey glove latch for the late 90's and early 2000's century, regal,  part 7002 bdy.  With key as pictured. Works and looks excellent.  Please be sure you need a 7002 bdy before buying, indicated on the back of latch, must be removed from glove box to verify.  7002 bdy is very close to a 7001 bdy which  fit a variety of 94 to 96 Regal, malibu and monte carlos. Check the glove box latch you're replacing to verify that bdy 7002 is on the back.   Ships the day you pay, 3.82.

Ford's brand portfolio is set to get smaller by the end of the year. Following the sale of Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar and most recently Volvo (to Chinese automaker Geely), the Blue Oval has now announced the demise of its 'middle of the range' Mercury brand, with production of the last vehicles set to cease at the end of 2010. In a statement released to media, Ford announced that the shuttering of the 71-year old Mercury brand was in the interest of focusing on Lincoln, the automaker's only remaining premium brand.

Ford to reveal 'post-kinetic' design in Detroit

It appears the NAIAS in Detroit will not be a complete wash in terms of new designs. Ford, for example, is poised to reveal the next phase in its global design language at the automaker's press conference on January 11th. According to J Mays, the automaker will unveil a new mid-sized vehicle which will 'be a big step in the global design DNA' for the company.
