The GrimmSpeed™ Boost Control Solenoid(BCS) plugs in and requires no splicing or soldering of resistors. With the included bracket you can bolt it in, plug in the connector, and start tuning for fast boost response, increased boost pressure and free up lots of power. Why run an Electronic Boost Control Solenoid over a Manual Boost Controller?

A MBC allows you to run higher than stock boost levels by preventing the wastegate from opening at its rated pressure. It does a great job at this but if boost is available under the MBC setting it will give you that full boost. So for instance, you set your MBC to 18psi because from 3000-6000rpm thats what you want. But then say you get detonation with 18psi when you are at 7000rpm unless you are below 16psi. With a MBC, you do not have this control so you are forced to run 16psi through the entire rev range. With an electronic boost controller you could run 18psi from 3000-6000 and 16psi at 7000rpm because you can tune the boost map in the ECU, which will allow you to run the maximum amount of boost at every given rpm. This gives you more power throughout the range and better control. Revolutionizing the boost solenoid market, Grimmspeed has created model specific install brackets that allow you to directly fit their Boost Solenoid into your vehicle for a factory fit. No more Zip-tying! They give you the factory fitment you have been waiting for.

Staying with the OEM fitment theme, Grimmspeed's Boost Solenoid uses an OEM style wiring harness so you can simply unplug your OEM solenoid and plug theirs in. No more cutting the OEM wiring and crimping wires together!

Also new to the boost solenoid market, they have used ultra low-profile hose fittings to keep the unit as small and clean as possible. The hose fittings are nickel plated brass so you don't have to worry about them snapping off like the plastic hose fittings!

The Volvo V60 Polestar is now rolling off Volvo’s production line Last month Volvo revealed that the V60 Polestar would be a limited edition run of just 750 cars for the world, but that 125 of those will be heading for the UK – the largest market allocation of any country – and will cost £49,775. And now, seven months after Volvo confirmed the V60 Polestar for production, the first cars are heading off the production line at Volvo’s plant in Torslanda and heading off to their new owners. Although not as powerful as we’d expected, the V60 Polestar still offers an appealing performance package, with 345 bhp and 369lb/ft of torque delivering 0-62mph in an impressive 6.0 seconds.

The price for the facelifted 2013 Honda CR-Z has been announced. The CR-Z Sport will start from £20,550 and the CR-Z GT will cost £23,050. So Honda revealed back in September that they’re giving the CR-Z a bit of a facelift for 2013, the main focus is on the running gear where Honda has upped the output of the 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine and attached electric motor to deliver 135bhp and changed the battery pack to a Lithium Ion one instead of the old Nickel-metal hybrid.
