ACP spring retainers utilize wrap around spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. With the Carbon-Kevlar, spring-centered race disc engagement is real smooth BUT has a finer engagement than OEM disc, and the shifting is fast. The Carbon-Kevlar, spring-centered disc is recommended for any car application. The disc can absorb two times more amount of heat then a regular OEM disc. Also, proven to last twice as long as an OEM disc due to the great amount of heat it can absorb. Extended longevity due to the Carbon-Kelvar materials mixed with some copper content. 200 mile break-in is mandatory to receive the best results.
