This Aux Interface by Grom Audio is a state of the art product that allows you to directly connect any device with a 3.5mm standard headphone jack through the proprietary auxiliary input port on the back of your factory radio (normally used for CD Changers and/or satellite radio.) This allows you to play the audio from that device over the car stereo. Connect devices like: MP3 players (iPod, Zune, etc), satellite tuners, DVD player audio, etc. You will have volume control from the radio and steering wheel controls, if applicable.

This product works in CD Changer (CDC) mode.  Consequently your radio MUST be remote CD Changer capable.  Your remote CD Changer (separate from radio), if so equipped, would need to be disconnected to use this product.  Please see the Application List in this ad for additional information on compatibility.  We recommend you contact tech support for the manufacturer or visit the gromaudio website to determine exactly how it's going to function in your vehicle with your options.  Among other things, they have a Support/FAQ link on their site that contains useful information.

Check Compatibility with GROM Audio's site for the vehicle specific cable. This one comes with Toyota Lexus Scion 04+ cable - small plug (TOY) but you can use whatever cable fits your vehicle with the AUX adapter.

Nissan Juke-R – first picture

Tue, 25 Oct 2011

Nissan Juke-R - the first official picture from Nissan With all things in the car world seemingly focused on fluffy bunnies and green halos, it’s great to see Nissan pushing the envelope at the other end with the Nissan Juke-R, a bonkers version  of Nissan’s compact SUV with the heart of Godzilla – the Nissan GT-R. We first reported the Juke-R – which we dubbed ‘Super Juke’ - at the end of last month when we didn’t know whether the Juke-R would be a one-off or a production model. But within weeks Nissan had come out and confessed our Juke-R story was real and that they really were working on a monster Juke with the heart of a Nissan GT-R.

Concept Car of the Week: Bizzarrini Manta (1968)

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

In the latter half of 1965, Giotto Bizzarrini began working on a racing car designed to compete with the Ford GT40, Ferrari 250P and the Porsche 906. The result was the P538, his most sophisticated car to date. The first two examples built were fitted with Lamborghini V12 engines and sold to American buyers to compete in SCCA races, while the third used a highly modified 5.4-liter V8 from the Chevrolet Corvette.
