These gas tank emblems are from a 1972 Suzuki GT550 I bought with the intention of putting back on the road.  As it turns out, it's in worse overall condition than I thought and worth more for parts, so I'll work an different project instead.

I don't know much about the history of the bike... best I can tell from the license plate and title, the bike was probably last on the road in 1984.  The title was signed and dated as sold in 1987.  The odometer reads 24,000 plus miles.  The guy I got it from said he found it in a barn last February and after riding it around a field awhile it died.  He said he put new points in it and it hasn't run since.

I removed the emblems and wasa careful to be sure and get the small metal inserts that fit in the tank and over the plastic tabs of the emblem... the covers are on the tabs and can be seen in the pictures.

The paint on the emblems is faded and gone in places, and I'm pretty sure you're going to wand to repaint the letters.

Please look closely at the pictures and ask questions if you need to before bidding.

I'll combine shipping with other items I have for sell if you happen to win multiple items.

Specifically, in a building adjacent to Honda's Marysville auto plant. The 184,000-square-foot building was once Honda's North American logistics facility, before that it was a seat factory and at one time Honda made transmissions inside.
