New MINI John Cooper Works GP: Official Deatails
Thu, 06 Sep 2012The new MINI John Cooper Works GP was revealed earlier in 2012, but now we get full details of MINI’s fastest ever road car. We had a fair amount of details – and some photos – back in May when the new JCW GP was revealed at the MINI United Festival in France, but MINI were a bit light on detail. But now, with the JCW GP soon to go on sale, we have much more detail and lots of photos.

Yes, we had the McLaren Mercedes SLR until last year, but that was best described as McLaren’s efforts to make a Mercedes, bloated, corporate concept of a supercar work. It wasn’t really what McLaren are about, which is cutting edge technology in a lightweight clothing.
Who's Where: Giles Taylor appointed Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design director
Wed, 27 Jun 2012Giles Taylor has been appointed Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design director, with effect from 1 July 2012. He previously held the position of head of exterior design. Taylor will report directly to senior vice president BMW Group design, Adrian van Hooydonk and will replace Ian Cameron who retires from his position to become a brand ambassador until his retirement in April 2013.
