SmallTownSpeed is proud to be the North American dealer for the quality cast aluminum, Australian made, AussieSpeed product line. This listing is for one brand new, POLISHED finned aluminum TALL valve cover for Honda GX 240, gx270, gx340, gx390, and their clones( including the 291 and 414 lct/northern tool powerhorse). This is perfect for giving your go kart, mini-bike, barstool racer, or any other small engine project that awesome traditional hot rod look! These really do beef up the look of these motors, and this tall cover has the advantage of being able to clear most roller rockers without having to run goofy looking spacers! This is polished(rough cast between the fins), and looks awesome, but its not a perfect mirror finish, and while it looks awesome and would be ready to enter into a mini-bike type show, its not a mass produced part, or a "show" polish. It will have minor flaws, and may have some small nicks and scratches from the shipping to get it to the USA. But if you have ever spent the time and money to polish a rough cast part, or have one polished, you will know that $10 extra for the polishing is a bargain!

It is very important that your motor is vented, if you do not vent your crankcase(which is usually accomplished by a hose coming off of the stock valve cover), you can lose power, blow out seals and gaskets and damage your motor. Since there are several ways to accomplish this(one of which is a nipple on the oil fill plug, which would not require a hole in the valve cover), and since most of these covers will be going on really cool custom projects, they do not come pre-drilled to give you the largest amount of flexibility; but these are good high quality, non-brittle castings that are easy to drill and tap(for a vent or pulse fitting for a fuel pump). If you are not comfortable with/don't have the tools for/would rather not mess with the drilling and tapping, call me at 972-989-4003 and I should be able to help you out, but this auction is for a valve cover as pictured in the first 5 pictures.

The first 7 pictures are the exact valve cover you will be receiving. Picture 8 has Ace showing off his kind of cool that cant be bought, and the kind that can(aussie speed parts of course!). Picture 9 shows one that has been powdercoated then had the fins polished sanded down to give a bright aluminum accent. The last 2 pictures show a cast cover that had to have the lip slightly ground down for clearing a tab on the cylinder head; you may or may not need to do the same to this polished valve cover, depending on what motor you are putting it on.

Note: These are small production run, sand cast(not cheap brittle die cast), aluminum parts. These are high quality parts, but due to the manufacturing process, there can be very slight variances from part to part, and they do come with an "as cast" finish which is coarse. I personally run these parts, and have been blown away by the quality(have never had an issue with any of them), but just want to remind people that these are cast parts, not factory made, cnc machined billet parts(which is a big part of why I prefer these parts). They look awesome as is, you can paint them(or smooth then paint if you want a mirror finish), or they can be smoothed and polished, which looks amazing!

I'm a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider. I part out bikes to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing them. With that said, I'm not a big shop, and this is not my only job. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because of my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. And the latter should be easy enough to relate to, right? I ALSO SELL PARTS ON FORUMS and LOCALLY, so I reserve the right to END AUCTIONS EARLY. I'm happy to combine shipping when practical, and I'm also happy to make package deals if there are several parts you need. Email is the best way to contact me, but I'm happy to give you a call, or give you my personal cell number if you would rather call me. FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK: SMALLTOWNSPEED

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, ALL OF THE PARTS I'M SELLING ARE USED. I guarantee them to fit the bike I took them off of; and any other years on models mentioned are to help people find parts that may work for them, not a guarantee of fitment. I pride myself in good customer service, accurate descriptions, and low prices. There is no feasible way for me to list or confirm every possible fitment while keeping my prices low. If you're not sure, check with your local dealer, or compare part numbers at an online oem supplier like motosport. BUT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT EVERY PART I SELL IS SOLD EXACTLY AS PICTURED AND AS-IS. It is also possible that over the life of the bike that I'm parting out, that parts were changed to something other than what was put on at the assembly line. So, where am I going with all of this? I wont stick anybody with parts they don't want or can't use. I accept returns, and my great feedback speaks for itself; seriously, read through some of it.... I treat other riders(that's you) how I would want to be treated; but I ask that you do the same for me in two ways. 1- having realistic expectations when your buying used parts. 2- if something is not right; let me know and give me a chance to make it right for you before opening a dispute or leaving feedback. I've never had anybody who has contacted me with an issue not end up completely satisfied. I aim for 5 star service 100% of the time. If I'm not achieving that, please let me know how I can improve.

Thanks!

Jaguar Land Rover aiming to double sales

Jaguar Land Rover plan to double sales We’ve got so used to reporting ever increasing sales for Jaguar and Land Rover that it comes as no big surprise that JLR are planning to double car sales by 2020. A few years ago such a figure would have been risible, but since Tata took the helm from Ford in 2008 the focus at JLR on creating a world beating brand and product has been unshakable. Tata got off to a good start with the Jaguar XF replacing the S-Type, and the new Jaguar XJ showing just how good a big luxury car can be to drive.
