Sir Stirling Moss is a remarkable character; a proper ‘Boys Own’ hero from a bygone age where men where men and women cooked and cleaned and did as they were told (well, in public, at least). Now 83 years old, Stirling Moss is still a force to be reckoned with, still making public appearances, still driving and still opinionated. BMW's Vision EfficientDynamics concept bound for Frankfurt

BMW has revealed a radical vision for its future performance-oriented models in a spectacularly styled concept car whose combination of M3-rivaling acceleration and Mini Cooper-beating fuel economy will likely make it one of the stars of this year's Frankfurt motor show. Called Vision EfficientDynamics, the one-off coupe is a mobile showcase for lightweight construction and plug-in hybrid drive technology, while featuring a variety of futuristic styling, packaging, aerodynamic, lighting and interior ideas under development at the German carmaker's heavily cloaked FIZ development center in Munich. Many of the concepts are planned for use on upcoming BMW road cars, including an exciting Z10 EfficientDynamics range-topping model due by 2015.

Half of Brits would name drink driver

NEARLY HALF (47%) of people in the UK would willingly report a drink driver, even of that person was a family member. Of those who would report a family member, half again (48%) said they would do it even if it was their partner, husband or wife. The research by insurance firm Confused.com also found that 17% of drivers believe there should be a complete ban on drinking and driving.
