Mitsubishi's world debut at Paris

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 15 September 2008 09:37 Mitsubishi today released this mysterious teaser photo of a new car – thought to be the new Colt – that will make its world debut at next month's 2008 Paris motor show. It's hard to see much from the shadowy pixels that have been issued: it looks like a generic, modern Mitsu with the Lancer's deep grille and wedgy headlamps. CAR expects Mitsubishi to show a heavily revised Colt at the Paris show on 2 October 2008.

Local Motors' designer and community manager Aurel Francois has made this short video explaining how he created his 'Alpine A444' render for the Le Mans Themed Sketchwall Challenge. His side view may be simple in terms of perspective but by using layer masks and pixel locking in Photoshop, the blue race car soon comes to life. BMW's Domagoj Dukec on the 4 Series Convertible [w/Video]

BMW's head of exterior design Domagoj Dukec has explained how the 4 Series Convertible's design sets it apart from the 3 Series in a new video. Dukec says that aside from the fact the 4 Series Convertible is visibly wider than its predecessor with an increased track and wheelbase, its design is unique. While describing the changes to features such as the kidney grille, headlamps and the lines running down the hood, Dukec also compares it to the coupé.
