XRT Pro

The XRT Pro is the solution that can meet almost anyone’s budget and needs. This product comes with all of the tuning capability of the Black Maxx / Mini Maxx but without the digital gauges and automatic defuel capability. GM and Ford vehicles will still be shift-on-the-fly capable (instantly change power levels), while Dodge vehicles will take approximately 10 minutes to change power levels.

The XRT Pro is capable of tuning the 6.7 Cummins engine and transmission SEPARATELY. This becomes handy for those running products other than H&S for their horsepower, but would like to tune the transmission with the H&S Overdrive software. For this application you will select "Transmissions ONLY" on your XRT Pro the first time it is installed on a vehicle.

Features:

-Comes preloaded with DPF Present and DPF Removed capable tuning
-Allows removal of the DPF system and ALL related sensors (nothing needs to go into the race exhaust)
-Precisely tune engine with HP increases of 0-250HP (dependent on application, see below chart)
-Speedometer recalibration for use of non-stock size tires or gearing
-Enable / Disable factory "special features". High idle, fogs w/highs, seat belt chimes, driving lights, etc. (6.7L Cummins)
-Remove / Adjust top speed limiter
-Allows removal of the entire EGR system including cooler with no trouble codes (6.7L, 6.4L, 6.0L)
-Turn off EGR without removing ANY parts
-Read / Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes
-Internet updateable w/included SD Memory Card and USB Cable
-Allows for use of aftermarket turbo kits with no trouble codes (6.7L Cummins)
-Transmission tuning included on the 6.4L Powerstroke

BMW M3 Edition Models revealed

Fri, 29 May 2009

BMW has revealed the M3 Edition Models - available for just 6 months BMW has released details of a quartet of BMW M3 Edition cars, which is a cosmetic job on the already pretty impressive M3 Coupe. For BMW to do this you’ve probably got to assume that sales on the BMW M Cars are a bit slow at the moment, despite the constant upward growth in the last few years. But never mind, it’s not a bad way to go, and the cars do look pretty good.

Honda Civic Ti (2012) first official pictures

Tue, 18 Sep 2012

Honda has glued a few glitzy bits to the latest Civic in recognition of its British Touring Car Championship participation, to create the new Civic Ti. The 5-door ‘race-inspired’ Civic is based on the 1.8 SE model, but comes with colour-coded wheel arches and some 17-inch ‘Le Mans’ alloy wheels. If that’s not enough to send you running down to the dealership, then Honda hopes the addition of a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearstick might.

Ferrari sales drop off a cliff

Tue, 09 Dec 2008

And there’s us thinking Ferrari was immune to the chaos that’s beset car makers all over the world. It’s been revealed that Ferrari’s sales in November dropped by a colossal 85% to just 92 cars, from a normal monthly production of around 600. How can this be?
