De Tomaso plans to unveil new Pantera
Thu, 14 Jul 2011Following the unveiling of its new Pininfarina-designed Deauville at the Geneva motor show earlier this year, De Tomaso is planning to unveil a new Pantera at September's Frankfurt motor show. De Tomaso is hoping that sales of the Deauville crossover will contribute towards the development of a new 'primal concrete sledge'.

Classic Porsche design cues were immediately obvious upon seeing the Macan in the metal in Tokyo and Los Angeles – including its rear and interior – and Mitja Borkert, director advanced design style, identifies other recognizable features.
