Saab appoints North American administrator, prospects darken

Saab has appointed an outside administrator to oversee its business in North America and the potential wind-down or sale of the company if its parent operations can’t emerge from bankruptcy. The move was announced on Wednesday afternoon by Saab North American COO Tim Holbeck as the company’s future remains uncertain. McTevia & Associates, a management and financial-consulting service with offices in suburban Detroit and Florida, is the administrator.

Ferrari teases Enzo replacement's rear detailing

Ferrari's official magazine has revealed another teaser shot of the replacement Enzo. The image, which appeared in The Official Ferrari Magazine alongside a previously released teaser, shows a close up of the rear including the lamps, exhaust and and some dramatically flared haunches. The Enzo's successor – codenamed the F150 – has a chassis made entirely from carbon fiber as it takes on its main competitor, the McLaren P1.

1959 Austin Mini Seven went for £40k The oldest unrestored Mini in the world was expected to fetch £12-15k in auction last week. It actually went for £40,250. Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that the oldest unrestored Mini in the world was going under the hammer at the Bonhams sale at the RAF Museum in Hendon, expected to fetch as much as £15k.
