We’ve also seen the McLarenj P1 on the move in the recent Top Gear with Jeremy scaring himself witless in Belgium as his brain came to terms with the awesome 903bhp at the P1′s disposal on a less than forgiving Spa circuit in damp conditions. If you’re an enthusiast of two-wheeled machinery, this video of Italian motorcycle racer Andrea Dovizioso discussing the perfect lap is sure to get your blood moving. Dovizioso races for the Honda Repsol Team in the MotoGP series, and here he gives us a 1,000-frames-per-second look at all of the knee-dragging, tire-slipping action in super-slow motion. Currently, Dovizioso is third in the MotoGP standings, behind Spain’s Jorge Lorenzo and Australia’s Casey Stoner.

Coventry University students prepare for the MA Design Degree Show

MA students from England's Coventry University Automotive Design course are preparing for their annual degree exhibition. This year's Show, entitled '15' will present fifteen students work from the fifteen month course in the new Coventry Transport Museum in the centre of the city.   The projects on show cover the full spectrum of vehicle concepts ranging from a luxury car inspired by Chanel perfume to a future proposal for a New York taxi and students have taken a wide variety of starting points for their project research.
