This engine is being sold by the Hall-Scott engine Co. This is an Original Hall-Scott Gasoline Engine.

935 Cubic inch, 5 3/4 inch Bore X 6 inch Stroke, Dual Spark Plug,(6 on intake & 6 on exhaust), Dual 6 post Delco Remy water resistance Distributors, Dual Delco Remy 12 volt system Coils.

1800 RPM & 245-265 HP, Hemi

(This engine is a runner, ran before it was pulled from a Crown Fire Truck, it's been sitting, covered out of the weather for 4-5 years, you can turn it by hand.)

Has a big #5,  Zenith Updraft Carb, which should be all brass inside, has a Delco-Remy Generator and Starter

This engine is part of the famous Hall-Scott "400" series, 177, 935 &1091 cu. in.

Has the later model "Spider" water intake manifold.

Comes with a Bendix-Westinghouse Tru-Flo, 2 piston Compressor

Comes with the original Clutch assembly and Transmission, Brown-Lipe, Spicer model 5756 B, used in the fire truck

Comes with 1 oil filter, sock type, Brass oil return & engine lift, exhaust flange & pipe for a exhaust connection, a victor gasket and 2 piece heat shield and a copy of a service manual.


This is priced to sell, have equipment to lift on to truck with blocking, or put it on a pallet, I can ask the property owner about storage fees if you need it.

New design boss for Land Rover

McGovern currently leads Land Rover's advanced design department, a think-tank examining the future look and concept of the firm's 4x4s. He has also worked for Ford's North American brand Lincoln, as well as helping to create some stunning cars at Rover Group.

Honda CR-Z – Euro debut at Geneva

Honda are bringing the production version of the CR-Z hybrid to the Geneva Motor Show Honda are attempting to make the hybrid car ‘Sporty’ with the Honda CR-Z. First seen at the Tokyo Motor Show last year and in US production form at Detroit last month, Europe gets to see the Euro production version of the CR-Z at the Geneva Motor Show next month. We’re finding it a bit difficult to get our heads round the idea that this is a ‘Sporty’ hybrid.

Audi readying new crossover to rival the BMW X6

Audi has kicked off development of a new performance-orientated crossover model to directly counter the BMW X6. Set to be called the Q6 when it reaches North American showrooms, the five-seat crossover is rumored to be based around the same all-wheel-drive underpinnings as the second-generation Volkswagen Touareg and the Porsche Cayenne, both of which use a short-wheelbase version of the Volkswagen Group's so-called Colorado platform that in long-wheelbase guise is also used in the Audi Q7. Nothing has been made official, but in an interview with the German media at the Geneva motor show, Audi boss Rupert Stadler alluded to the crossover, saying, “We can imagine a model between the Q5 and the Q7 .
