Bentley at Geneva: Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible +video

Tue, 02 Mar 2010

The Bentley Continental Supersports hits the floor at Geneva It’s only a couple of weeks since we got confirmation that Bentley was producing the Continental Supersports Convertible, and that the debut would be at Geneva. So there’s not really an awful lot more to tell, but we do love the idea of such a monstrously powerful convertible as the Supersports so much that we wanted an excuse to run another story. The fact that we just got a VT of the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible drop in and the pictures from the floor at the Geneva Motor Show is reason enough.

Jaguar Academy of Sport and tomorrow's sports heroes

Tue, 20 Apr 2010

By Phil McNamara Motoring Issues 20 April 2010 12:26 The icons backing Jaguar’s Academy of Sport have triumphed at the highest level. Their collective achievements include 54 Olympic and world championship medals, 10 F1 podiums and a Le Mans win, England’s most successful cricket captain and our most prolific wicket taker, plus the rugby player voted the greatest of all time. And Champions League-wining footballers David Beckham and Steven Gerrard, along with Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy, couldn’t make it.

Teewave AR1 (2011) - Gordon Murray's roadster unveiled

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

It may have a daft name - let's face it, driving a car called a Teewave does sound terrifically uncool - but Gordon Murray Design's latest creation is a very important vehicle. The Teewave AR1 not only showcases the Surrey-based company's design and engineering capabilities that elevate it to full design studio status, but also illustrates the very sweet spot where engineering integrity, lightweight material and want-one design meet. We joined design director Barry Lett at GMD on the day Project T32 was being primed for shipment to Tokyo for its public debut by Toray.
