These two tires were used for only 200 miles or so. The tread is full depth and there is no damage of any kind to the tire. The car had a flat and the shop said the old tire was too worn to patch. I was stuck on the road, so they sold me a pair to get home on. Once I got home, I figured the other two were pretty worn too, so I decided to buy four new of the stock brand for the car and take these two off. I paid over 200 dollars each for these two tires and they aren't even broke in yet. My roadside misfortune is your chance to get a great deal on these two tires!

The MG6 may have just become a little more appealing, with the news that the GT and Magnette diesel variants are now more efficient than before. CO2 figures are down from 139g/km to 129g/km and average fuel consumption has been improved from a claimed 55.3mpg to 57.6mpg. This results in the MG6 dropping a tax band from E to D.

Maybe the Japanese car companies are finally working out that the Interweb reports Japanese launches when they happen so there’s no point procrastinating on details for the rest of the world? But whatever the reason we have official details of what the Mazda6 has in store for the UK this year. But don’t get too excited; it’s much more a facelift than a new car.

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

You can always rely on the subject of speed limits to result in a heated debate. We only need highlight the recent furore over the government’s plans to introduce a 60mph limit on a 32-mile section of the M1 to make our point. But how about a scenario where you, the motorist, select the appropriate speed limit?
