Thank you for checking out our items.  We do our best to represent items accurately and are happy to answer any additional questions.  This is a second job for us; we list multiple items as well as a huge variety of items, so we do make honest mistakes and are not experts regarding some of the treasures we list, but we try to offer items at a fair price and handle business professionally and honestly.  Most items are estate sale items and sometimes require some clean up.  We usually list them just the way they come from the auctions. I appreciate your understanding if I do not return an e-mail immediately as I do my e-baying in the evenings.  Any problems, let me know, and we can try and work things out. Any questions about shipping items together to save on shipping, just ask!

SHIPPING:  We usually are able to ship purchases out within two days; however, five days would be the maximum time for handling.  We are located in western Nebraska, zip:  69337; so often postage is higher to either coast and sometimes slow! I take extra care in packing items to arrive safely.  See recent message from a customer below:

Dear 5grant22,

Hi Deedra', Mug/glass arrived safely thanks to your wonderful secure packing. The Box was crushed on one side and we were afraid it had been broken. We are very happy with the item and hope to buy from you again.

PAYMENTS:  PayPal is the only accepted payment, and it must be from a CONFIRMED PAYMENT.  Payment is expected within 3 days of the close of auction or within 24 hours when using a Buy it Now option.

RETURNS:  I do not accept returns unless there is an unusual circumstance, and then we can work something out.  It is easier for me to manage beings this is not my only job.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:   Most of my items are set up on the global shipping program, and you deal with them for shipping.  I prefer the global shipping because shipping direct causes me some income tax issues. However, I understand the global shipping is often difficult for international buyers also, so it may possible to ship direct in many cases.  But you must contact me prior to bidding or purchasing the item. If shipped directly, please note that shipping costs do not reflect any additional taxes, tariffs or customs fees imposed by receiving countries.  These are in addition to and the responsibility of the buyer.  Please check with your customs office for a list of these fees.  I do charge a handling fee of $1.50 over the actual cost of shipping for international shipping.  I will invoice you upon purchase.  Thank you.

Maybach reaches end of the line

Fri, 25 Nov 2011

Daimler AG is set to announce the closure of its Maybach ultra luxury brand this weekend, according to reports. The underperforming 57 and 62 limousines are to be killed off in 2013, following a decision from chairman Dieter Zetsche who has elected not to invest in their respective replacements for 2014. Following a concept car preview at the 1997 Tokyo motor show, Maybach was resurrected in 2002 after Daimler AG failed to purchase either Rolls-Royce or Bentley from then owners, Vickers.

Go-ahead for £1bn Wales motorway

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

A £1 BILLION new motorway in south Wales has been given the go-ahead by the Welsh Government. Ministers say a preferred "black route" between Junctions 23 and 29 of the M4, including a new crossing of the Usk south of Newport, will boost the economy as well as ease congestion. But opponents say improving existing roads around Newport would be cheaper as well as kinder to the environment.
