Condition:Used

For sale is an original gas pedal for the 61-66 Dodge D-100 Pickup Truck. It has a split part way though the bottom section where most of them broke off. There's still a good portion of it that's still intact. I was thinking maybe filling the split part with hot glue or a strong adhesive would prolong the life of this old truck pedal. Other than that the rest of it is in good condition. These are super hard to find these days! Thanks for looking!

'Make electric cars loud and safer'

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

ELECTRIC AND HYBRID cars should be made louder to protect people with eyesight problems, an MP and charities have urged. Mary Glindon (North Tyneside) said the Government should first ensure the vehicles are safe for all road users after pledging millions of pounds in subsidies for the ultra-low emissions market. She believes sound generators should be fitted to the vehicles to ensure visually-impaired (VI) pedestrians are aware of them.

July 6: The skinny from the power company

Tue, 06 Jul 2010

After getting a full recharge at the 120-volt wall plug in the parking garage at work I drove home and only used maybe three bars. It was about 3/4-full when I got home that night. I didn't plug it in all weekend and it still had that amount of charge when I went to Southern California Edison (SCE) for a meeting today.

Seat Leon Cupra R (2009) first official pictures

Thu, 20 Aug 2009

By Gareth Evans First Official Pictures 20 August 2009 10:59 Seat has unveiled its most powerful production car ever, the new Leon Cupra R, with an S3- and Scirocco R-matching 261bhp.   Performance figures for the front-wheel drive hot hatch look good: 62mph is dispatched in 6.1 seconds, the top speed is 155mph, and yet the Cupra R returns 34.9mpg. Thank the high-tech 2.0 turbo engine from the Volkswagen group, which in this incarnation makes 261hp. Helping get all that power through the front wheels is XDS, the same system you'll find on the Golf GTI that effectively mimics a limited slip differential through the use of electronic wizardry.
