This ATV License Plate Kit in black plastic from Hardline Products gives you everything you need to register your ATV or UTV for off-road use -- including plate, decals, and fasteners. Each kit contains one 4 x 7.5-inch impact- and fuel-resistant black plastic plate and complete mounting hardware (includes 2 each of wire ties, nuts, screws and cable clamps). It also comes with two sets of 0-9 numeral decals and one set of A-Z letter decals. These 1.5-inch registration decals are UV coated to protect from fading, and they're also fuel and scratch resistant. Meets state requirements for off-road registration when installed correctly. Ford's forgotten T-Drive program

Digital boss Andy Stoy recently passed along this little piece of nearly forgotten Ford history from the early 1990s. We know that our girl Murilee Martin dug this up way back in 2010, but the wonder of the Ford T-Drive system is worth revisiting. According to Drivingenthusiast.com, “T-drive is a system consisting of a transversally located inline engine, a transmission and associated packaging.” The transmission is mounted to the side of the engine, or the back, depending on how you look at things.

The global design director for GM's Advanced Design Group, whose job also entails exploring future transportation design solutions, talks about the need to avoid short-term thinking on urban mobility, as by 2030 60 percent of the world's population will live in cities. As new challenges start to emerge, such as increasing congestion, Dean believes it is time to start thinking about transportation in a completely different way.
