Gumpert tease two debuts for Geneva 2012
Sun, 26 Feb 2012Gumpert are teasing two new cars for Geneva 2012 Gumpert has revealed they are heading to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with two debuts. One should be a production version of the Gumpert Tornante. Back in November we reported that Gumpert were teasing a new car debut for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, which we concluded (or hoped) would be a production version of the Gumpert Tornante by TOURING we saw at the Geneva show in 2011.

We’re following developments at McLaren’s Woking HQ with interest and – weeks after we published world-exclusive pictures of the P11 styling buck (above) – today we can reveal that McLaren is readying three separate model ranges. McLaren Automotive, the car-building arm of the McLaren Group, is plotting a three-tier range of sports cars, CAR understands. Under the McLaren Development Plan, Ron Dennis and the other directors plan to expand the manufacturing base dramatically.
Nissan 'Art of Mobility' sculpture unveiled by Rigoletti Casa De Diseño Institute [w/video]
Tue, 14 Feb 2012The Rigoletti Casa De Diseño Institute of Transportation Design's first full-size vehicle sculpture, sponsored by Nissan Design America, has been unveiled. For the past six months design students from Rigoletti and designers from NDA have collaborated to create the ‘Art of Mobility'. The students' goal was to capture the future of Nissan's brand character through line, form, and iconic shapes so it would be a conceptual representation of Nissan's Latin American future design philosophy.
