Harken Mainsail Traveller System.  This was removed from a 30 foot sailboat that was retired due to deck issues.  It was mounted at the front of the cockpit.  I don't have details on the model or year but I believe it is the model for a midrange boat.  The sale includes everything shown in the pictures which is the 1) 4 ft. track, 2) the main traveller car (6.5") , 3) the two end controls (4.5") and 4) 14 bolts and nuts and most of the washers.  I posted a short video on EBay to show the functioning of the main traveller car and the two end controls at  https://youtu.be/imqYbsxcxJo.  Send me an email with any questions and I will do my best to answer.

Peugeot 308 R heading for production

Thu, 19 Sep 2013

It looks like the Peugeot 308 R (pictured) is heading for production With the Peugeot RCZ R managing to go from range-topping performance concept to production, it seemed likely Peugeot was aiming at producing a new range of performance cars. And it seems the next could be the Peugeot 308 R. Arriving at the Frankfurt Motor Show as a concept, the 308 R comes with a strange two-tone paint job (meant to evoke the Peugeot Onyx Concept), but with far more to offer than just a paint job that makes it look a different car at the back than the front.

Driving with criminals

At first it had all the appearances of a routine police checkpoint, a simple little affair in which some warnings might be issued, possibly some speeding tickets. But otherwise our group of 18 or so U.S. automotive journalists driving a fleet of high-priced Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG sedans would be allowed to continue on our merry way through the Spanish countryside.
