BMW releases M Performance accessories for 2-Series Coup

The BMW 2-series is set to replace the 1-series coupe that we've had on this side of the Atlantic come next spring, and a few months prior to its U.S. debut BMW has rolled out M Performance upgrades for the upcoming coupe. That's right, the 1-series will no longer be sold in the U.S., so there won't be any 2014 models.

2014 European Car of the Year shortlist announced

So, now running into its fiftieth year, the shortlist for the landmark half-century award for the European Car of the Year 2014 has been announced. Bentley promises '90% hybrid range by 2018'

Speaking at the debut of the Mulsanne Hybrid Concept at the Beijing motor show, Dr Wolfgang Schreiber announced that a plug-in hybrid option was ‘the right choice for the future of Bentley’. He also confirmed that the first production-spec Bentley with a part-electric powertrain will be the marque's controversial new SUV.
