Harley Davidson 2000 Fxdx Dash Console on 2040-parts.com
Walnut Cove, North Carolina, US
This is the stock dash console from a 2000 FXDX. I removed it awhile back to put a chrome one on my bike. It is in very nice condition except for a small scuff in the wrinkle finish which I had touched up with regular touch up paint. I'm not sure how well you can see the scuff, pictured in the last picture but, it is there. Really only needs to be covered over with a little wrinkle black. The console is very straight and has no rust. I used the rubber trim on the new console I put on my bike so you will need to get another trim rubber.

Simeone museum lays out history of competition sports cars
Mon, 28 Sep 2009Unlike Europe, with its multimillion-dollar manufacturer-sponsored auto museums, the United States has built its auto museums almost entirely with private money. Traveling around the country, you can find spectacular collections such as the Nethercutt in Sylmar, Calif., small enthusiast-run museums such as the Pierce-Arrow museum in Buffalo and everything in between. There are museums for hearses, microcars, tractors and every conceivable form of transport--including a museum in Ferndale, Calif., for human-powered vehicles.
