 H D 2002 T C engine, 95 Ci, is "B" type (SofTail) FLST.  Engine is completely rebuilt.  Bottom end was disassembled, flywheels checked on truing stand, chain tensioner replaced.  New bearings, Big Bore cylinders and Pistons installed with new rings and gaskets.  Has new stock H D cams and bearings, all H D parts used for rebuild, can use carb or injection, comes with charging system.  Engine had 27,600 miles before rebuild. Is black with chrome cam cover and lifter blocks.  Polished rocker boxes

John waxed lyrical over the weekend (someone has to do the weekend news) saying that the Goodwood FoS is “Disneyland for petrolheads, with the world’s greatest cars and greatest drivers wallowing in three days of high-octane worship at the alter of the internal combustion engine” And he’s absolutely right, but there’s more to it than that. It it works because, despite the fame and ability of many of those who turn up to Goodwood every year, from Button to Moss and Evans to Martin, there is little in the way of them and us; it’s 180,000 diverse people drawn together by a common love of all things car.

VW XL1 (2013) 314mpg eco-car heads for production

VW supremo Ferdinand Piech has kept his promise of putting the XL1 super-eco car into production. VW has confirmed the 313mpg XL1 will be built in limited numbers, around 50 of which are earmarked for UK sale. It's an expensive way to save money on fuel though: projected prices for the XL1 run into six figures.
