New Images: Subaru Hybrid Tourer

Subaru has released additional images of its Hybrid Tourer concept, which the company will reveal at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show next week. The environmentally friendly design study is claimed to be a grand touring car with enhanced performance and safety attributes. McLaren launches Special Operations unit for customers' custom requests

British sports-car maker McLaren has launched its Special Operations unit, which will help the company's well-heeled buyers customize their cars. McLaren previewed some handiwork from the new division at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, with a custom example of the MP4-12C. The customized sports car had a variety of carbon-fiber trim upgrades and special treatment such as unique orange paintwork, a gloss-black roof, diamond-cut-finish wheels with gloss-back inners, 12C-branded carbon sill panels, a carbon steering wheel and carbon-fiber cover vents for the engine.

College Exhibition: Elisava Design Degree Show 2006

Students from the Transportation Design Masters program at Spain's Elisava School of Design presented their work October 24th in the 2006 Degree Show entitled 'Mobility Techniques'. The Elisava Masters course in Transport Vehicle Design started seven years ago with the aim of providing new proposals for future transport through research and development of creative and innovative transport concepts. The course is taught in Barcelona, a worldwide reference for culture and design.
