Audi to build cars that can predict the future

Audi is hoping to make traffic jams, parking and city centre navigation much easier with a new suite of technology called Audi Urban Intelligent Assist (AUIA), while Audi traffic Light Online helps you avoid red traffic lights. Combining the work of its own Electronics Research Laboratory in Silicon Valley with four leading US research universities, the eventual aim is that this new technology will essentially be able to predict the future. Infiniti will trim the G sedan model lineup for the 2013 model year while adding some extra power to the EX and FX crossovers in the form of the 3.7-liter V6 found in the G37. Per Infiniti's naming conventions, the EX35 and the FX35 will become the EX37 and FX37 when the 325-hp, 3.7-liter V6 is slotted under the hood. The result is a 28-hp gain over the current 3.5-liter V6.

Bus service cuts 'at critical level'

CUTS TO bus services are now reaching "critical levels", according to a report by the Campaign for Better Transport (CBT). As many as 47% of local authorities in England and Wales have reduced their support for buses for 2013, while the 2014/15 financial year is likely to be a difficult one for bus services, said CBT. Three councils have stopped supporting services and others might follow, warned the CBT, whose report is entitled Buses In Crisis and is based on responses to Freedom of Information Act requests made to all local transport authorities regarding supported buses.
