The new Subaru Impreza – the lowdown The new Impreza draws design inspiration from 2010's Impreza Design Concept, and the current Legacy saloon. Although you'd be hard-pressed to tell, as Subaru has seen fit to issue this single photograph in a fairly uninspiring shade of burgundy red.

We haven't heard many complaints about the new Alfa Romeo 4C. So far, kvetching has been limited to the fact that Alfa won't produce too many of them, that they won't be free, and that there's no manual transmission option. Also, the headlights are weird.

This aggressive slice of supercar is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse – making its debut here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, it could quite possibly be the last current-shape Gallardo variant we’ll ever see. Named after a famous breed of fighting bull (what else?), the Gallardo has been around for a decade now. Tweaks to the chassis, engine and styling over that time have kept it fresh, but could the Squadra Corse be a last hurrah for this Lamborghini?
