Last-ever BMW M3 Coupe rolls off line

With only a shade over 16,000 examples produced for the worldwide market during its run, the first-generation BMW M3 wasn't built in significantly larger numbers than the Lamborghini Gallardo (13,059 cars by the end of the 2012 model year). And they were all coupes. The four-door M3 was introduced in 1994, two years after the second-generation coupe bowed, sat out the car's E46 run and then returned for the E90's run.

McLaren 650S revealed early

We speculated the 650S would be a tweaked 12C with more power and styling tweaks, and that’s exactly what it is. Driving has managed to publish the first official photos this morning (albeit in fairly low res) and it’s clear the 650S is the 12C with a healthy does of P1 mixed in for extra appeal.

It's hard to say 2010 was a bad year for the iconic Italian automaker, as it still created a major buzz on the auto-show circuit and its sales were down only slightly. But all signs point to 2011 as a new beginning for Lamborghini.
