Audi A4 Avant (2008): first official pictures

So step forward the new A4 Avant, unveiled today.The estate version of the A4 will major on sporty style rather than outright practicality, but the numbers are smaller (less thirsty than the old one) and larger (boot capacity up by 48 litres to 490, 1430 with the seats down) as appropriate. Ford Kuga Coupe planned?

It looks as if Ford are planning a Ford Kuga Coupe for 2011 But Ford are obviously looking with interest at the ‘Style’ element of the market place. As people are downsizing in the current recession there are plenty looking for something that still says ‘Individual’ but without the price tag of the premium makers. And it appears as if Ford are seriously considering producing a ‘Style’ version of the Kuga – The Ford Kuga Coupe.

Spyker would rebuild Saab around core products, put 9-1 plans on hold

Spyker Cars NV will rebuild Saab around the 9-3, 9-5 and 9-4X models if it buys the Swedish brand from General Motors Co., Spyker CEO Victor Muller says. Plans for a Saab 9-1 entry-level car would be put on hold. Muller said Saab would maintain its headquarters, engineering and production in Trollhattan, Sweden, under Spyker's ownership.
