For Sale is a very nice gas tank , front and rear fender set . This is for a CARBED  bike .  Came off the 2000 fat boy you see in the pics.  I will describe the set as honestly as I can.  The gas  tank and fenders have no dents.  The paint is a very high quality paint job, it still shines and looks great. The front fender has chips where it mounts, once its mounted you cant see them.  The gas tank is in great condition, again it has chips where it mounts. Also some marks on top where the console mounts but the console covers them. Like most sheet metal the rear fender gets the most wear, where the passenger seat mounts. Its not bad but it is there. Also , a previous owner had his name airbrushed on the bottom of the rear fender , so I put the Harley bar and shield sticker over it, there is a scratch next to the sticker , I rubbed wax in so it would show in the pics.  I have probably made this sound a lot worse than it is. Bolt it on, stand back 15 feet , it looks like a show bike. Look at the pics of it still on the bike. Its ready to bolt on and go. A good set of tins that need paint will go for 500 to 600 dollars. This will have to be shipped in 3 boxes so shipping will be a little high, sorry , nothing I can do about that. I WILL ONLY SHIP TO THE LOWER 48 STATES. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID . THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE GAS TANK AND FENDERS ONLY!!! THE BIKE IS NOT INCLUDED !! Thanks

GreenGT H2 completes first laps ahead of 2013 Le Mans

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

Are we entering the era of the eco-friendly racing car? French outfit GreenGT could be spearheading the push, with the announcement its new H2 hydrogen racing car has completed its first successful racing laps testing at the Magny-Cours circuit in France. The wacky-looking hydrogen hybrid racing car will compete in the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race, filling the ‘experimental competitor’ pit garage vacated by the radical-looking 2012 Nissan DeltaWing.

Audi RS7 to lap Hockenheim – DRIVERLESS

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

Audi are taking an RS7 round Hockenheim completely autonomously Every car maker – from Mercedes to Volvo and Ford – is working hard to make autonomous driving a reality, and it looks like we’re just a few years away from seeing cars being driven by computers, with the driver relegated to passenger in many daily driving tasks. Now it’s Audi’s turn to demonstrate the progress they’re making with autonomous technology by taking an RS7 round the Grand Prix track at Hockenheim without a driver having control. It’s arguable that taking a driverless car round a track – even at race speed – is far less of a technological task than having a car running driverless through a cityscape with all its variables, but it’s an impressive demonstration nonetheless.

New 2015 Volvo XC90 – first exterior photo

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

The new Volvo XC90 (pictured) arrives in 2 weeks The reveal of the new 2015 Volvo XC90 is only two weeks away – although probably overdue by many years – and Volvo continue to pique our interest with more information on the new XC90. Top of Volvo’s information list this time is their new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) which underpins the new mXC90, but in the process they have revealed the first exterior photo of the new XC90 (although the exterior has already been revealed), although it is only a front-end detail photo. What it does show is the XC90′s new headlights – complete with running lights Volvo has dubbed ‘Thor’s Hammer – which look similar to those found on a number of Volvo’s recent concepts, a much bigger grill than we’re used to seeing on a Volvo and a sculptured bonnet.
