Showcasing Lamborghini's newfound love for carbon fiber as well as an exhaustive list of new technologies for their road cars – such as a pushrod suspension – the Aventador certainly has a supercar-style spec sheet. The V12 engine used in the Aventador is also all-new and when combined with the lightweight carbon monocoque chassis is claimed to provide blistering performance, albeit in an unrevolutionary body. Silverstone gets British Grand Prix
Mon, 07 Dec 2009Silverstone has won a 17 year deal to host the British Grand Prix Now the farce that was the Donnington bid has been expunged, we’ve been waiting for confirmation that Bernie Ecclestone will take in to account more than just money and confirm that the British Grand Prix will survive. It seemed certain last week that a deal would happen, and the official announcement has come this morning that Silverstone has secured a 17 year deal to host F1. The key to the deal seems to be the length of the agreement.
2014 BMW 328d diesel to start at $39,525
Mon, 05 Aug 2013BMW is bringing the 328d range of sedans and wagons to the U.S. to replace the departing 335d, with sales starting this fall for the 2014 model year. Both the sedan and the wagon will use the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder Twinpower turbodiesel engine producing 180 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque.
