The Chevrolet Cruze Hatch - will show at Paris Chevrolet are trying hard in Europe. Last year we saw the launch of the Chevy Cruze in to Europe – before even the US got it – and we recently reported on the Chevrolet Orlando MPV which is due to debut at Paris in a few weeks. And now we get the hatchback version of the Chevy Cruze, catchily called the Chevrolet Cruze Hatch.

Kia has released a short film featuring Peter Schreyer that provides an insight into the world of premium car design in which he explains the importance of proportion. In the presentation, Schreyer sketches the company's new K9 sedan, describing how a rear-wheel drive platform affects the car's design, with its generous wheelbase, short front overhang and the 'prestige distance' between the center of the front wheel and the A-pillar. Volkswagen updates Scirocco

Volkswagen has revealed an upgraded Scirocco, which will make its world premiere at the Geneva motor show in early March. Among the changes to Wolfsburg’s 6-year-old coupe are some subtle exterior changes, higher quality interior, and new four-cylinder engines, including a 276-hp version of Volkswagen’s EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter in the new top-of-the-range Scirocco R. Other engines include a 1.4-liter, 123-hp four and a 2.0-liter producing 177 hp, 217 hp or 276 hp.
