By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 13 December 2013 17:56 In an own goal for taste, Chelsea FC manager Jose ‘Special One’ Mourinho has joined a joint project with tuning firm Mansory and self-styled high society club Raff House to create a new supercar. The finished car, of which just eleven will be made (accept no substitutes) is designed to ‘unite the best of Ferrari and Aston Martin’, according to the promotional literature. A single teaser image has been revealed, showing a carbonfibre-bodied coupe with vertical exhaust outlets and faintly McLaren 12C-esque rear lights.

And now it’s the turn of Mugen in Japan who have also built a supposedly one-off CR-Z – the Honda CR-Z Mugen RR. The Euro Mugen CR-Z – which was on show at Goodwood last month – was eventually fettled to deliver 197bhp by bolting on a supercharger.

Holidaymakers to drive over 1,000 miles

BRITISH families will rack up a total of 15.7 billion miles in their own cars during holidays this year. Research from Kwik-Fit suggests that motorists using their vehicle for trips will drive an average of 1,082 miles each. The vast majority of these trips will be within the UK, with 13.2 million cars being used for domestic holidays.
