Up for auction is a Harley Davidson Screamin Eagle Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioner and High-Flow Oil Pump Upgrade Kit that is IN NEW CONDITION. Best deal on Ebay at $1 opening bid and NO RESERVE! No damage to this kit. Has never been installed.

This kit updates the cam chain tensioner of your Twin Cam 88 engine to the latest design, as featured on the Twin Cam 96 engine. The billet cam support plate has been designed to allow the installation of the Twin Cam 96 hydraulic cam chain tensioner to Twin Cam 88-equipped models. These Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioners will significantly outlast the spring loaded tensioners, and are an ideal addition to an engine modified for improved performance. In addition, '02-'06 models utilize a Twin Cam 96 single row front roller chain and sprocket (included in kit). '99-'01 models use Original Equipment front silent chain and sprocket to retain the cam position sensor function. The kit includes an improved Screamin' Eagle High-Flow Oil Pump that provides increased oil pressure at high-operating temperatures. This kit increases the oil supply by 23% and scavenging by 50% when compared to the '99-'05 Original Equipment oil pump, and reduces operating temperature of bearings to improve bearing life.                                                                                                                                                           Fits '99-'05 Dyna models, '00-'06 Softail models and '99-'06 Touring models. Installation requires separate purchase of Spacer Kit P/N 25285-08, Cam Service Kit P/N 17045-99D and Drive Gear Retention Kit.                                                                  MSRP $499.95.                                                                                                                                                      PLEASE READ!! Tue, 27 May 2014

What will the 2015 Volkswagen Passat look like? Well, VW has teased us with a set of pictures and various technical details of the all-new Passat, which will go on sale next year. Demand for traditional family saloons has fallen dramatically in recent years, but  Volkswagen is going after that section of the car-buying market – as well as the BMW 3 Series  and the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class – with its new 2015 Passat.

Dacia Duster is Scottish Car of the Year 2012

Sat, 13 Oct 2012

The Dacia Duster SUV has garnered its first award in the UK – before it even hits showrooms – winning the Scottish Car of the Year 2012. Top car awards should be for cars that are available for buyers to walk in and grab from their local dealer, and they must bring something that’s not just new, but better too. We’re not sure where that leaves the winner of the 2012 Scottish Car of the Year – the Dacia Duster – as it’s hardly a ground-breaking car and it’s not on sale yet.

And now we get the official details – and some photos – of the new CLS 63 AMG version of the Shooting Brake ahead of its likely public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.
