Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Review & Road Test (2011 MY)
Sat, 04 Dec 2010Range Rover 4.4 litre TDV8 Review & Road Test This year has seen lots of reporting on the Range Rover, mainly because Land Rover’s modern icon has reached the grand old age of forty. Hard to believe in some ways that the familiar, boxy silhouette of the Range Rover has been around so long, but in others it feels like the Rangie has always been a part of the car landscape. New SEAT Leon ST Estate revealed
Tue, 23 Jul 2013The New SEAT Leon ST Estate (pictured) has been revealed ahead of a Frankfurt debut As estate cars have become more stylish, more and more buyers have fallen in love with the idea of a ‘Wagon’ version as their family transport, as it now offers little downside and much more practicality. So it’s no wonder SEAT has decided to bite the bullet and launch an Estate version of the Leon – the Leon ST – as the third model in the Leon line-up. The ST estate shares its wheelbase with the five-door Leon but gets a small – and reasonably stylish – shed bolted on the back to offer 587 litres of space with the seats down and a reasonably commodious 1470 litres with the seats down.
New Audi A1 Sportback: The Five-Door A1 arrives for 2012
Fri, 18 Nov 2011Audi reveals the new A1 Sportback 5 Door With almost two years of sales of the ‘Only Premium Car in its Class’ (Audi’s assertion), Audi has revealed the more practical version of its smallest car – the five-door Audi A1 Sportback. Visually, the five-door A1 looks just the same as the three-door A1 – with the obvious addition of a pair of back doors – but Audi has managed to 6mm in height and width which, they say, improves room in the back. Which it may, but as the length and wheelbase remain the same it won’t do anything for legroom.
