 Up for sale is a FatBob or QuickBob gas tank from a 1990 Harley-Davidson Sportster.  This came from a 1990 XL1200 and may fit other models but, please confirm with your service technician for proper fit and function. Estimate to be about 4.0 gallons.  Petcock will be on the left side. Includes gas caps shown. Good used condition with one small ding on the left side and normal wear and tear (see photos).  Includes hardware shown.  International shipping available but does not include any import customs duty fees or taxes your country may charge. Fiat are said to be bringing the 500 Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari to Frankfurt Update 12/9/09: Fiat has now confirmed that the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari is real and will be at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We’ve updated with details and a full gallery of pictures of the Tributo Ferrari, and the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari Press Release. And earlier this year we speculated – whilst looking at the Abarth 500 – that it would make a great courtesy car for Ferrari and other Supercar makers.

Solar car built by Cambridge University crashes

The annual World Solar Challenge is taking place right now. 38 teams from all round the globe are racing 3,000km (1,864 miles) across Australia using energy from the sun alone. Unfortunately, the planned entry from the UK’s very own Cambridge University isn’t amongst them – because five days before the start the above happened.

Ford overhauls plans for the U.S. C-Max to go with fewer seats, all hybrids

Ford has shifted gears on its plans for the C-Max wagon in the United States and will now sell only the five-seat version with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, beginning in 2012. Ford has canceled plans to sell the seven-seat version of the C-Max with a conventional gasoline engine in the States. Ford will call the car the C-Max hybrid, and C-Max Energi will be the name of the plug-in version.
