Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Gas Tank 1996-2003 Yellow on 2040-parts.com
Lake City, Florida, US
This tank is in great condition and rust free inside.
There's three cosmetic flaws:
-scratch on gas cap
-scratch on top of the tank which you can barely see below the red marker
-2 very minor dents on the side corner of the tank about 2 inches forward of the red marker.Barely noticeable in the right light, otherwise they're hard to see at all.
This tank came with a bunch of other parts I bought so I am unsure of actual fitment.Took it to the Harley dealer who said it fits 1998-2003 Sportster, maybe 883.
Might fit 1996-97 (Note date on replacement tank instructions). The petcock mount on these years doesn't kick out as far as this one does, and the fuel vent is nipple has a different location, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Porsche Cajun – the ‘Baby’ Porsche Cayenne
Mon, 27 Sep 2010Porsche Cajun - the baby Porsche Cayenne It seems like the car world has been predicting a ‘baby’ Porsche Cayenne ever since the original stepped on to the world stage in 2003. The baby Cayenne has long been dubbed ‘Roxster’, but it appears it will in fact be the Porsche Cajun. VW boss Martin Winterkorn – who by default is now Porsche’s boss – has been giving Der Spiegel the benefit of his thoughts on all things car, and in particular all things VW.
Rubens Barrichello does Top Gear
Thu, 08 Jul 2010Rubens Barrichello does Top Gear this weekend Top Gear does like to get a Formula One driver or two to drive their track in a reasonably priced car. They’ve not managed to grab the whole grid yet – and they’ve also included a few golden oldies like Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill – but a lot of the big names seem to be persuaded it’s a bit of fun worth having. The top contenders this year have all been to the TG track, bar one.
