FOR AUCTION: STOCK CAMS, IDLER, LIFTERS, AND LIFTER BLOCKS REMOVED FROM A 1982 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER. CRANK WENT OUT AND I DECIDED TO PART THE WHOLE THING. PLEASE NOTE PICTURES: WELL-USED. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY MILES THESE PARTS HAVE ON THEM. I PUT 5K MILES ON THE BIKE SINCE I'VE HAD IT. THERE IS OBVIOUSLY SOME WEAR, BUT ALL IS GOOD WITH THE PARTS. ROLLERS ON LIFTERS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE, WITH ALL NEEDLES STILL THERE. CAM LOBES AND GEARS ALSO LOOK GOOD. LIFTER BLOCKS WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED OF GREASE AND DIRT. ALL LIFTERS AND BLOCKS HAVE BEEN LABELED SO THEY CAN BE RETURNED TO THE SAME POSITION ON EACH CAM THEY WERE TAKEN FROM. NO MOUNTING BOLTS ARE INCLUDED WITH THESE PARTS. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. Fri, 31 Jul 2009Production versions of the BMW 7 Series & X6 ActiveHybrid will show at Frankfurt The Concepts for the ActiveHybrids were originally shown in 2008, and the production models are expected to be pretty much the same. They are in effect ‘Mild’ Hybrids, using a 20hp electric motor – with an additional 155lb/ft of torque – to add efficiency to the 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8. The electric motor will be fitted in the transmission housing and replaces stuff like the alternator and starter.

Tue, 09 Aug 2011Fortified with snakeskin interior leather accents and 22-inch rollers, the Harley-Davidson edition of the Ford F-150 returns for 2012. A white platinum tri-coat is also added for the new model year. Power comes from the 6.2-liter V8 rated at 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque.
Campaign Group Calls For Halt To 20mph Roll Out
Fri, 29 Aug 2014CAMPAIGN group Alliance of British Drivers (ABD) is calling for Government to halt the roll out of 20mph zones following further increases in 20mph accidents. The organisation has also questioned the motivation of proponents who continue to advocate a national roll out of 20mph zones, despite an ongoing Government investigation and claims of increased recorded accident statistics in current 20mph zones. In a recent survey of its members: 95% of Alliance of British Drivers' members believe that the roll out of 20mph zones and limits should be halted pending Government research into increased casualty statistics in current zones.
