UP FOR AUCTION IS A PAIR OF ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT FACTORY CHROME MUFFLERS WITH BAFFLES INTACT THAT WERE NEW VEHICLE TAKE OFFS. THIS SET WAS REMOVED FROM A 2012 HARLEY SEVENTY TWO XL1200V IN AUGUST 2012, AT THE DEALERSHIP BRAND NEW WITH ZERO MILES. BIKE AND MUFFLERS NEVER LEFT THE SHOWROOM FLOOR PRIOR TO REMOVAL IN THE SERVICE BAY. MUFFLERS COME WITH THE ORIGINAL BRAND NEW HARDWARE AS PICTURED. ACCORDING TO THE HARLEY CATALOG, THESE SHOULD FIT 2007 AND LATER XL MODELS, BOTH 883 AND 1200 ENGINES. THE ENGINE APPLICATION IS ALSO STAMPED ON THE MUFFLERS.

Enthusiasts say good-bye to Ferrari expert Gerald Lee Roush
Tue, 25 May 2010Influential Ferrari expert Gerald Lee Roush, the founding editor and publisher of the Ferrari Market Letter, died on May 21 after complications from a heart attack. He was 68. Born in Durango, Colo., Roush started his publication while teaching history at Abraham Baldwin College, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

It looks like the new Mercedes CLC – a mini CLS based on the new A Class – will debut at a film and food festival in LA as the Concept Style Coupe. We know that a mini CLS based on the new Mercedes A Class is planned, and we know it’s likely to be the Mercedes CLC (or any number of other potential monikers including CLA and BLS) and will probably even spawn a CLC Shooting Brake version too.
Production of Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero EVs halted
Sat, 11 Aug 2012Production of the Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero – both the Mitsubishi i-MiEV under the skin – has been halted by Mitsubishi. The Peugeot iOn EV arrived at the Frankfurt Motor Show three years ago and the Citroen C-Zero EV arrived a few months later, heralding PSA’s arrival in the EV market with a car based on the Mitsubishi i-MiEV. But the prices were frankly horrible at £33,155, more than four times what you’d have to pay for a Citroen C1 or a Peugeot 107 with the 1.0 litre petrol engine.
